LIGHT! - A cello meets the visions of Hildegard von Bingen

In this special concert, Christina Meißner brings old chants by Hildegard von Bingen to life - specially arranged for cello. Between these medieval melodies, modern works by the composer John Palmer will be heard, which deal with the theme of "light" and Hildegard's visions.

Each piece shows a different side of light:
Lux Vivens - light as a living force,
Lux Ardens - glowing and fiery,
Lux Serena - delicate and barely audible,
Lux Obscura - mysterious, with special sounds and exciting moments.

A varied program full of depth and emotion - between medieval and modern.
